Sounds better than 830

Some might be interested how Qualcomm chose the name Snapdragon 835, especially as most people expected to see the Snapdragon 830 replacing last year’s champion, the Snapdragon 820.

Samsung has learnt a lot from its incredible flaming battery fiasco, but it seems it is not having much luck in teaching the industry to learn from its mistakes.

No chip for others

According to the latest report, it appears that Samsung managed to secure an exclusive deal with Qualcomm, scoring the latest and fastest Snapdragon 835 SoC for its upcoming Galaxy S8 smartphone, which means that other flagships will have to settle for Snapdragon 821.

About 0.5mm thick with vapor chamber

Similar to the Samsung Galaxy S7’s use of a single ultra-thin heatpipe for internal thermal dissipation, the upcoming flagship Galaxy S8 replacement is expected to use the same design, according to the latest info from Taiwan-based supply chain makers.

Not copying Apple this time

Samsung appears to have decided that it is not going to copy one aspect of the iPhone 7 on its new Galaxy S8. It seems that the cordless headphone idea is too silly and unpopular.

Follower of the pack

A report said that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will feature a screen without home buttons on it.
