Revenue up by 18 percent YoY, but investors are not happy

AMD has reported its third quarter 2024 financial results, reporting a revenue of $6.8 billion, an increase of 18 percent year-over-year, and strong growth in gross and operating profit and margin, and earnings per share. The company is on track to deliver its record annual revenue this year, and all thanks to strong Data Center and Client segments.

First quarter made $52.9 billion

Microsoft’s cloud arm reported first-quarter revenue of $52.9 billion, up seven per cent, and net income of $18.3 billion, up nine per cent.

Top end of revenue forecast

IBM expects to hit the top end of its revenue growth forecast for 2022, the company said as it flagged a $300 million knock to revenue from the suspension of its business in Russia.

Fudzilla monthly revenue chopped by 65 percent

199M Snapdragons in Q3 FY2018

Qualcomm has announced its financial Q3 2018 results and the company ended up with $5.6 billion of revenue, at the top end of its $4.8 – $5.6 billian guidance. Non-GAAP diluted EPS was expected at $0.65 - $0.75 and in reality it ended up at $1.01.

To improve performance in fiscal 2019

Qualcomm has released its financial results for the second quarter of  2018 and the company generated $5.3 billion, a five percent year over year positive change.

Still up 18 percent over February following iPhone order cuts

Foxconn Electronics, the world’s largest contract manufacturer and third largest technology company by revenue, reported consolidated revenues of NT$341.69 billion in March 2017, an increase of nearly 18 percent over February and nearly 2 percent year-over-year.

74 percent revenue upswing from previous quarter

In the third quarter of 2016, MSI reported some rather strong revenues increasing 74 percent from the second quarter and 41 percent year on year.

PC and tablet markets still remain down

On Friday, Lenovo reported its revenue earnings for the third quarter of 2016, up 12 percent over the previous quarter and down 8 percent year-over-year as market conditions continue to remain challenging.

Increasing production of 28nm chips

Earlier this week, MediaTek reported a net profit growth of 19 percent during the third quarter of 2016, but now expects revenue momentum to slow down in the fourth quarter as it ramps up production capacity of 28nm chips.
