MediaTek has announced that it has just launched its first MediaTek powered smartphone on the Verizon wireless network. The phone is manufactured by LG, is called Stylo 2V and it is the first-ever MediaTek-powered CDMA/LTE smartphone by Verizon Wireless. This is a big win for the Taiwanese company that will open many doors for the company.
