45W is the best we can do

AMD has
quietly removed Lima based 1.8GHz 22W TDP dual cores from its roadmap. The company doesn’t talk about such a CPU nor does it offer it to OEMs or retail chains.

Athlon X2 3250e is dead before it was even born and AMD offers some 45W TDP CPUs that you can buy from companies such as HP here.

We will try to find why AMD decided to skip this market as such a CPU was better performing than Atom and it had some reasonable TDPs but Neo re-branding might be the real reason as Neo has just a CPU like that, just slightly de-clocked to 1.6GHz to meet the 15W power needs.

When it comes to HTPC or any kind of other energy efficient desktops you can forget about 22W and be happy if you get 45W.
