Today is DDR3 day

AMD
will launch four new Phenom II branded CPUs, two of them in X4 and two in X3 three core edition.

The top AM3 CPU for a while will be AMD Phenom II X4 810 at 2.6GHz quad core and this CPU has total of 6MB cache, 4x512MB L2 and 4MB L3. The runner up is Phenom II X4 805 with the same specs but only 2.5 GHz clock. They both support DDR2 or DDR3 memory.

AMD also plans two three-cores. The top one is Phenom II X3 720 Black edition with 3x512KB L2 cache and whole 6MB L3 cache, based on Heka 45nm three core, which in reality is Deneb with one core disabled. This one should overclock well.

The last on today’s menu is Phenom II X3 710 three core with 2.6GHz clock and same 7.5MB total cache. All four CPUs have a 95W TDP and you can expect some Phenom II X4 810 and Phenom II X3 720 reviews later today.
