Samsung is set to upgrade its I9100 Galaxy S II smartphone by clocking it at 1.2 Ghz. The beast has an Exynos chipset featuring a dual-core Cortex-A9 CPU and Mali 400 GPU and will be pretty much the most powerful A4 out there.
The news has been leaked through Samsung's Estonian office's Facebook page. So far there has been nothing from the official sites. The Galaxy S II official site does not list the exact technical specs of the CPU and might be gearing up for a change.
It will be the top of the league until the new Qualcomm Snapdragons, featuring 1.4 GHz dual-core Scorpion CPUs end up in products. These have been tipped for another incarnation of the Galaxy S II and the HTC EVO 3D.
