According to a news post over at Anandtech.com, AMD's upcoming FX Series CPUs have apparently been pushed for late July, although they were scheduled to be officially announced at Computex. Apparently, AMD has some issues with the current B1 stepping and is waiting for the next B2 stepping.
The problem apparently has something to do with performance issues and in case you somehow managed to miss it, AMD's upcoming FX Series CPUs will be available in 4-, 6- and 8-core versions and should have been released together with the AMD's latest AM3+ socket 990FX chipset. The codename Zambezi FX Series is made on 32nm process and together with the chipset are a part of AMD's Bulldozer platform.
The new CPUs will work on previous AM3 motherboard but without the official AMD support. AMD will focuse on its APUs and its Llano parts for both mobile and desktop markets and most of AMD's show will be about them, of course, we are expecting more details regarding the Bulldozer platform as soon as Computex show heats up tomorrow.
