Following the launch of two new FX-series parts yesterday, AMD has slashed prices of several Phenom II processors and a few FX-parts.

Starting with the FX-series, the FX-6100 dropped from $155 to $145, while the FX-8120 now costs $185, down from $205.

The ageing Phenom II series got an even bigger discount. The Phenom II X4 saw its price reduced from $135 to $115, while prices of other quads were cut anywhere between 1.9 percent and 11.4 percent.

Two Thuban six cores also had their prices slashed and the 1075T and 1055T are now priced at $165 and $155 respectively.
