Two dual-core Richlands at 65W
A6 6400K and A4 6300 in Q2 2013
AMD is working hard to launch its next generation APUs codenamed Richland, and as many of you already know by now, they are expected in latter half of Q2 2013.
The company plans to launch at last four quad-cores, of which two are unlocked, as well as two dual cores, where one ends up unlocked. We still don’t know the clock speeds of the parts but faster and unlocked dual core Richland will end up with A6 6400K branding. It comes with two cores and DirectX 11 graphics and fits FM2 motherboards. It is a 65W TDP part with 1MB cache and 192 Radeon cores.
Richland supports dual graphics for most parts, the K version is unlocked and it supports AMD Turbo core. The runner up is branded A4 6300 and this is the only Richland that won't support dual graphics. It also comes with 1MB cache, has 128 Radeon 2.0 cores and fits both new and existing FM2 motherboards.
They are expected in Q2 2013, unless they hit some kind of delay which is currently not in sight.
