A8-4557M and A10-4657M

AMD launched the first batch of Richland mobile APUs last week, but it is not giving up on Trinity just yet.

AMD silently listed two new Trinity APUs on its website, with full specs. Both chips are quad cores, with a 35W TDP, which means they are aimed at chubby 15-inchers.

The A8-4557M is clocked at 1.9GHz/2.8GHz and it features 256 GPU cores clocked at 497MHz/655MHz. The A10-4657M clocks in at 2.3GHz to 3.2GHz and it has a beefier GPU, with 384 cores clocked up to 686MHz. Both parts have 4MB of L2 cache.

The new chips seem to be based on the A8-4500M and A10-4600M, but unlike them the A8-4557M and A10-4657M are manufactured in a BGA package, reports CPU World
