The survey shows that, despite initial difficulties, the Ryzen 5 processors are doing better than the already excellent-valued Ryzen-7-processors.
More than 83.9 percent of users ranked the Ryzen 5 with a positive first impression. The German site said that it would appear that AMD had just launched an outstanding product with Ryzen 5. Only 9.4 percent were "indifferent" and just 6.7 percent thought negatively of Ryzen 5.
The price of the Ryzen 5 (170-270 euros) places it in a good mid-range segment and makes it possible to address a considerably larger circle of users, especially in the mass market, than the Ryzen 7.
The Ryzen 5 is one of the best launches in years, from a cores/thread value per dollar perspective. Its release has forced Intel to offer 4C/4T or 4C/8T for the same cost as AMD's new Ryzen 5 chips which provide 6C/12T for the same cost.
