Unfortunately, AMD only discounted the Threadripper 1900X CPU, which dropped from US $549 down to US $449. The complete Ryzen 7 lineup has been discounted, including the Ryzen 7 1800X, which dropped from US $449 down to US $349, which is a 30 percent drop.
The only CPUs missing from the list are the Ryzen 5 1400 and Ryzen 3 1200, which are replaced with the newly introduced Ryzen APUs, or as AMD likes to call them, Ryzen desktop processors with Radeon Vega graphics, the Ryzen 2400G and the Ryzen 2200G.
The new suggested retail prices should be implemented today so retailers/e-tailers are likely to start lining them up. This will definitely put more pressure on Intel's lineup and give AMD a bit more market share ahead of the Ryzen 2 launch.
