In case you missed it, the Ryzen 7 8700F is an 8-core/16-thread Zen 4 CPU with a maximum turbo of 5.0GHz, 16MB of L3 cache, and 65W TDP. This is basically the Ryzen 7 8700G but without the RDNA 3 GPU and XDNA NPU. At the listed $299.99 price, the Ryzen 7 8700F practically does not make sense, as the Ryzen 8700G is about 10 percent more expensive, and some Ryzen 7000 series CPUs are a much better choice, especially the Ryzen 7 7700X.
The Ryzen 5 8400F, which is a 6-core/12-thread SKU, should also launch on the same date with $189.99 price tag, according to @momomo_us post over at Twitter. Considering that the Ryzen 5 8500G goes for $179, this price comes as a big surprise.

Unfortunately, both listings have been pulled down, but they will probably come back on May 14th, hopefully with different price tags.
