According to the information coming from Chiphell, AMD is preparing a total of three Ryzen 9000X3D SKUs, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, which should launch in early November, and the Ryzen 9 9900X3D and the Ryzen 9 9950X3D, which are probably coming early next year. The same discussion over at Chiphell forum that was caught by Videocardz.com, and which cites information from Gigabyte's X870 launch event and a well-known leaker, suggests that the two SKUs coming later, the 9950X3D and the 9900X3D, could come with additional features.
The rushed launch of the Ryzen 7 7800X3D does not come as a surprise considering that the non-X3D Ryzen 9000 series "Granite Ridge" desktop processors are not as popular as expected, especially considering that the Ryzen 7 7800X3D still holds its ground, even compared to the flagship Ryzen 9 9950X.
While initial information suggested that the Ryzen 7 9800X3D could launch by the end of October, it was later clarified that the announcement could come at that date while the launch could be pushed to November. Hopefully, we'll hear some official information from AMD next month.
