So no change in Korea’s legal system

Hopes that there might be changes to make South Korea’s legal system fairer have been abandoned after the legal system gave the leader of the Samsung business empire a get out of jail free card.

Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman Jay Y Lee fought back tears and denied wrongdoing as prosecutors sought to lock him up for 12 years.

The head of South Korea's Samsung Group Jay Y. Lee, may be languishing in a jail cell but he is allowed plenty of visitors which probably means he is still running the company.
