We played with MSI's latest gaming creation, simply called GX600, today. This notebook offers impressive specs including an Intel T7300 dual core 2GHz CPU with 4MB cache, 2 GB of RAM and 250GB hard drive.
The heart of the machine however is Geforce's 8600M GT graphic card with 512MB memory, and we can tell you that this notebook is able to score about 2300 in 3Dmark06 and you can run Crysis at 1024x768 with the medium settings. This is about the best you can expect from a mobile gaming platform.
This notebook can also be overclocked with a press of a button from the 2.0GHz default clock speed to 2.4GHz, and you will gain even more performance. We have yet to play with it at the 2.4GHz clock speed, but we saw it in action back in September.
Here is what the machine looks like.
