Customers lose faith in Apple and Dell

Can't get no satisfaction

The American Customer Satisfaction Index shows that customers are feeling less happy in their dealings with PC makers Apple and Dell.

According to, the annual quality study conducted by The University of Michigan released Tuesday shows that while Apple is still the leader in terms of satisfaction with service and products, its overall ranking dropped by five percentage points.

Dell also lost five points on its score while HP showed a one percent improvement. Ironically HP's Compaq label is still seen as the worst.
