Swedish Prosecution Authority, Aklagare.se suffered from an immediate online attack by Anonymous. It was eventually bought up again. So far three hackers linked to the Anonymous attacks, including two Dutch teenagers, have been arrested this week.
Anonymous has vowed to avenge the site in any way it can, however it admitted that its distributed denial of service attacks (DDoS), were fast becoming ineffective. Some of the group have decided that they would try to find the "best, least exposed US diplomatic cables leaks" and spread around the web.
Other members have said they will continue to attack. One of the group known as "Bass" from the group Anonymous, has been reported as saying the attacks would continue. He said that the group was developing new and more sophisticated types of malicious software.
Many security experts had written off Anonymous as a bunch of script kiddies who were not real hackers. If the group is developing new tools then they must have some new blood signing up.
