Company chief product manager Kouji Kodera said in a statement that HTC has not decided on branding names or marketing points for its upcoming Windows Phone 8 Apollo devices yet, so it is uncertain whether or not they will follow the "One [X]" Android 4.0 lineup or take on a different naming scheme entirely.
Earlier this year at CES 2012 in Las Vegas, the company announced a new Windows Phone 7.5 Mango device, the HTC Titan II LTE, which will be launching on AT&T's new 4G LTE network on March 18th and worldwide on other 4G LTE networks in Q2 2012. According to analysts, it is unlikely that HTC's new Windows 8 Apollo devices will be any different from its current Windows Phone lineup.

HTC has received plenty of attention at Mobile World Congress 2012 for its newly announced Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich device lineup, but that doesn't mean the company is backing down on its support for competing software platforms. On the contrary, the company is strategically preparing to launch a mean Windows Phone 8 "Apollo" device lineup in the second half of 2012.
