Two groups of French publishers say they considering a lawsuit against AdBlockPlus creator Eyeo because it is ruining their chances to make money from the Internet. 

The GESTE has made a name for itself for its aggressive stance against Google via its contribution to the Open Internet Project. The second plaintiff the French branch of the Internet Advertising Bureau is joining in despite actually failing in its real remit which is to stop advertisers being invasive. 

AdBlock Plus might kill off legit advertising but it also users making a stand against some of the antics of digital advertisers.  If Eyeo has any sense it will counter-sue and the French will be honour-bound to surrender, look to the US or the UK to bail them out and then spend decades making them suffer for helping.
