So, what does an Nvidia AIB do when Nvidia hasn't got competitive products? It starts selling something everyone is buying, and no, we're not thinking about Radeons, but Atom-based netbooks.

Point of View has launched its first netbook, the Mobii PC, and apart from the initial outburst of sarcasm, we have to admit it offers great value for money. It's no beauty, and like its sibling, the Datacask Jupiter, it's dirt cheap. For just €278 you get your typical serving of Atom N270 and 945 chipset, as well as a 10-inch screen. It has more storage than the Datacask machine, 160GB, and an ExpressCard 34 slot for expansion.

So, it costs some €60 less than a similarly speced Wind or Eee PC, and it's a nice machine for Nvidia fanboys who won't mind Intel's IGP graphics. Not sure that there are many of those around, but never mind.
