The departure of two senior marketing people from Intel has been confirmed, and this comes as a big surprise to some, especially considering Intel's planned 2020 push into discrete GPU market with Ponte Vecchio and the extensive Intel Odyssey marketing push.
Intel has built quite a team, mostly ex-AMD people, that joined some of the key people from Intel in pushing graphics marketing in the right direction, and Jon Carvill, who was Vice President of Marketing and Technology Leadership at Intel, was the first one to leave for its rumored new gig at Nuvia.
Confirmed over at Twitter, Chris Hook, who was Intel’s Graphics Marketing Chief, and Heather Lennon, a Senior Marketing Manager for Intel Graphics, followed closely and joined "other ex graphics brethren", as Chris pointed out on Twitter.
I did, following other ex graphics brethren like @HeatherJLennon and @Dr_jonnyfever . You’ll be hearing more about my next gig shortly. Now for some rest and Turkey.

Unfortunately, Chris Hook did not want to reveal any details regarding his future plans, but as he is well-versed in marketing, we are quite sure we will hear those big bells soon, probably after the Christmas season. Of course, we wish them all the best in their future endeavor(s).
