The move sees Advania UK secure 100 percent of the share capital in CCS Media. This deal will significantly enhance Advania’s market offerings and align with its cunning plan to become Northern Europe's preferred end-to-end IT services provider.
For those not in the know, Advania UK is part of The Advania Group, a cloud services outfit and Microsoft partner. It has more than 4,500 employees across Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Finland, Denmark, South Africa, and the UK.
Geoff Kneen, CEO of Advania UK, claimed that the move was a “game changer.”
“It represents a tremendous opportunity for two highly complementary and trusted businesses to join forces as a long-term strategic technology partner for our customers,” he said.
Together with the recent acquisition of value-added reseller Servium, Advania can offer unparalleled choice and deep experience in identifying, procuring, implementing, and supporting the right technology solutions for our customers, Kneen said.
CCS Media is over 41 years old and delivers IT solutions and services to organisations across the UK and beyond. Boasting a network of 11 offices and a warehouse and logistics configuration centre, CCS Media offers unmatched nationwide supply and service capabilities. The company partners with over 2,000 manufacturer partners, selling over one million products to 8,000 customers.
CCS Media CEO Terry Betts said: “The CCS Media Leadership Team is immensely excited to unite forces with Advania UK and extend an even greater depth of expertise and services to our loyal customers across the UK. CCS Media was on a journey to develop more comprehensive solution offerings for our customers and the transaction will hugely accelerate this trajectory.”
