If you get death threats you usually have miffed someone off like a local crime lord, or a terrorist organisation, or an Apple fanboy.

However a man in New Mexico claims that he has received death threats from Verizon Wireless over a series of harassing phone calls made by Verizon bill collectors last year. Al Burrows, says the calls were nothing to do with him, but were do to a relative's unpaid mobile phone bill.

When he hung up on one of them, the disconnected Verizon rep called back. The woman said she knew where Burrows lived, and added, "I am gonna blow your mother f...... house up."

Sheesh we would hate to see the complaints department.
