Asus' slim Eee PC X101 to hit retail next month

With both MeeGo and Windows 7
According to a report over at Digitimes, it appears that the recently announced Eee PC X101 10-inch netbook should appear in retail/e-tail sometime in July.

The 17.6mm thick and 950 gram heavy Eee PC X101 features a 10-inch 1024x600 display, a 1.33GHz clocked Atom N435 single-core CPU, 2GB of memory, 8GB SSD that will be expandable via microSD cards, Bluetooth and 802.11bgn WiFi. To keep things slim and light, Asus apprently opted for a 3-cell battery so it won't be running any battery marathons.

According to details, Asus Eee PC X101 will be avialable in two versions, one running Windows 7 and the other with MeeGoo. The one with MeeGo will hit retail with a US $199 price tag while the Windows 7 version should be somewhere between US $310 and $350.
