Despite the fact that the last few roadmaps have included pricing and complete listing of Cedar trail platform for September launch, Digitimes got information that it will be pushed back to November. Our sources also told us that the launch got moved after IDF, since IDF will be all about Ultrabook, potential cash cow for Intel.

Atom Cedar Trail M platform has two CPUs a 32nm based H2800 clocked at 1.86GHz and H2600 clocked at 1.6GHz priced at $47 and $42. Cedar Trail D and Atom D2700, priced at $52, and Atom D2500, priced at $42, will also be pushed to November.

The main culprit is the graphics driver, which cannot pass the graphics certification for Windows 7, and for many netbook and PC manufacturer this is quite a big deal. It is reported that the rest of the chip, including the graphics part powered with new DirectX 10.1 graphics core, is in good shape.

With Ivy Bridge 22nm coming only in March / April, Intel definitely won’t have much more than Ultrabook to talk about at IDF.
