Tegra 3 in action

Nvidia has demonstrated an Asus Prime tablet running Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0 and Nvidia claims that the video was recorded November 16th, just two days after Google released ICS source code. You can see that the video is up as of November 17th but it was posted life on the Nov 22nd.

It was demonstrated that the new transitions run smooth, something that we find arguable, but again it’s an early demo not a market-ready software build.

Nvidia demoed snappy 1080p video that runs rather well and Riptide GP runs better with new water effects on Tegra 3 with faster graphics and CPU core.

We expect Asus to ship Android 4.0 at some point next year, if all goes well yearly next year. As far as we’ve seen so far this might be the first public demo of a tablet running ICS Android 4.0.

You can check the video after the break.
