The fruity maker of overpriced equipment has announced that it managed to sell three million units of its new iPad. It also mentioned that these iPads are “incredible” much like everything else with an "i" in front of it.
Apple’s new toy comes with the new Retina display, Apple’s A5X chip with quad-core graphics, 5MP iSight camera and the same old impressive battery life. We couldn’t help but frown at the choice of words for the Retina display, since the company called it stunning, which isn’t quite what we hear these days.
The new iPad is available in the US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Switzerland, UK and the US Virgin Islands. It will be available in as many as 24 more countries starting as of Friday, March 23 via Apple’s online store.
The Wi-Fi models are priced at $499 for the 16GB model, $599 for the 32GB model and $699 for the 64GB model. iPad Wi-Fi + 4G for either AT&T or Verizon comes priced at $629 for the 16GB model, $729 for the 32GB model and $829 for the 64GB model.
