More iPad mini rumours emerge
Getting less believable with each passing day
It was about time. We have a new batch of fresh iPad mini rumours this morning, with maple syrup on the side.
According to some Mac rumour peddlers, Apple will introduce the new 7-inch iPad in October and it will cost $200 to $250, which is in line with what we’ve been hearing for months. However, iMore is reporting that the new device will ship with as little as 8GB of storage, which sounds a bit odd considering that even the original iPad launched with 16GB and this was two years ago.
Furthermore the baby iPad is said to feature the same 2,048 x 1,536 resolution as its big brother, which translates into roughly the same pixel density as the iPhone 4 Retina display. This makes us doubt the report even more, as such a design would entail a powerful processor like the A5X and a pretty beefy battery, not something that is a very good match for the 7-inch form factor.
