Shipping in 2 to 3 weeks

If you happen to have a US, UK, Australia or Canadian IP address, Google will be happy to accept your Nexus 7 pre-order over at Google Play store. As we said before, the 8GB version sells for $199 in the US or £159 pounds in the UK while the 16GB version cost $249 or £199 pounds in the UK including VAT.

Canadian customers will have to spend $209 Canadian for the 8GB version or $259 for 16GB, while Australians will have to pay $249 Australian dollars for 8GB version and $299 for 16GB version. All these countries get a voucher with $25 dollars in US, Canada and Australia or £15 in the UK credit to spend on the Google store.

If you try to pre-order one Google claims it will ship one in two to three weeks from today and you should be getting one before July 15th, or at least it looks like that. Private persons can order maximum of 5 but the bad part is that you can't see the shipping price until after the purchase.

Our sources, as well as Google itself, are telling us that more countries will get it soon. We guess English speaking countries were first on the list as Google Now a.k.a. Siri competition only speaks English, and doesn't support some major languages like Spanish, German, French, Russian, Chinese, somebody stop me there.

At the same time Galaxy Nexus has dropped to $349 making it a real sweet deal, especially knowing that this will be the first phones to get the Jelly Bean Android 4.1 update. US based readers can also pre-order Nexus Q could player for $299.

Oh yes, google.com/nexus will get you to the right place.
