Dual-socket LGA 1366 beast

Although
it has been detailed before, EVGA has now officially unveiled its top-notch overclocking motherboard powered by Intel's 5520 chipset. The Classified SR-2 is designed specifically for overclockers and it's no wonder considering the fact that Shamino was heavily involved in the process.

Featuring the HPTX, 345.4x381mm (LxW), form factor, this motherboard supports two LGA 1366 Xeon CPUs, 8+2-phase design, twelve DDR3 memory slots (six for each socket), two NF200 brigde chips for seven PCI-Express x16 slots and bunch of other neat and high-end features.

It features rather large active cooling, and comes with dual Gigabit LAN, 7.1-channel audio, two USB 3.0 and two SATA 6.0 ports, six standard SATA 3.0 ports, and two eSATA ports. The motherboard can also disable PCI-Express slots and features, and has on-board clear CMOS, Power and Reset buttons as well as support for EVBot external OC device.

The new Classified SR-2 motherboard comes with a lifetime warranty and a quite high US $600 price tag.
