PC players waiting for Batman: Arkham City will have to be a little more patient, as we have learned that the PC version will be delayed yet again. Warner Bros. Interactive has confirmed that the release date of the PC version has now been moved to November 25th.
No reason was given for the delay. With the new release date, Warner has pushed the PC version back more than a month since the console version was released. While no reason was given for the new release date change, it could simply be that the developers need more time; or it could be marketing related, but no one seems to be talking.
PC fans hoping to play Arkham City should be aware that the game carries some pretty hefty requirements if you want to play it with all of the additional bells and whistles that the PC version can offer. Nvidia claims that in order to reach the game’s highest setting users will need a 2.5GHz Dual-Core CPU with 4GB of RAM and a GeForce GTX 460 are necessary to run the game at this level with PhysX support. Of course, more powerful video cards are required to achieve higher resolutions and 3D support.
