Skyrim will get a day one patch according to an announcement from Bethesda. The day one patch will be released at the same time for all platforms, meaning that the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC versions will all get the patch, which takes the game to version 1.1.

While Bethesda isn’t saying what will be contained in the day one patch, according to their forums they will announce the fixes and changes contained in the 1.1 patch later this week. The game is still on track to be released on November 11th and at this point, it would be a little late to stop the release.

It sounds, however, that Skyrim will be ready to play with this 1.1 patch.
