According to Rebellion, the new Sniper Elite 4 will follow covert agent and elite marksman Karl Fairburn, which "must help free Italy from the yoke of Fascism and defeat a terrifying new threat that could halt the Allied fightback in Europe before it's even begun."

While it won't be coming for last-gen consoles, the Sniper Elite 3 will be available for the PC, as well as Xbox One and Playstation 4 where it will run at 1080p, according to Rebellion. The maps in the new Sniper Elite 4 will be much bigger than in Sniper Elite 3 and it will include campaign, co-op, and other multiplayer modes. 

Rebellion did not provide a precise launch date other than it will come later this year.
