Dual fans and factory overclock

MSI has announced yet another GTX 260 card named the N260GTX-T2D896-OC. The new card will feature MSI's newest Twin Frozr cooler that has two fans and five heatpipes.

The card comes with a factory overclock and works at 655MHz for the core. It has 216 stream processors with a shader clock set at 1,408MHz. The 896MB of GDDR3 memory is overclocked from 1,998MHz to 2,100MHz, and the card still has the same 448-bit memory interface.

The new cooler comes with two PWM fans and five heatpipes, as well as the extra heatsink for memory and PWM part. According to MSI's testing, the new cooler should bring 8°C lower temperatures under load when compared to the reference cooler which heats up to 78°C. MSI didn't mention anything about the noise of this cooler, and we sincerely hope that it produces the same amount of noise, if not less, when compared to the reference one.

The only thing that we are missing is the availability date and the price of this card.
