Sapphire has announced yet another card that will be a part of its HD 6800 series, the Radeon HD 6850 2GB.

The new Sapphire HD 6850 2GB still packs 960 stream processors and 48 texture units and works at 775MHz for the GPU and 1000MHz (4.0Gbps effective) for 2GB of GDDR5 memory. All of this is packed on custom blue PCB and cooled by a dual-slot cooler.

The I/O part of the card features two DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs. ACcording to Sapphire, the larger 2GB frame buffer should help in demanding applications and specific graphical demands such as large texture maps in the latest games.

The card is already listed and available in Europe with a lowest price set at €146,49.
