Tech blog WCCFtech.com has dug up some rather interesting product codes in AMD’s latest Catalyst update.

The codes include HD 8800M series parts, most likely next generation Sea Islands GPUs, along with new FirePro A300 cards.

Of course there are no details beyond the codes and it is unclear when AMD will officially introduce its next generation GPU architecture.

From the looks of it, there is a very good chance AMD will be able to roll out its first second-generation 28nm GPUs before Nvidia manages to complete its first generation 28nm lineup.
