AMD has announced a total of seven FreeSync enabled monitors from five different vendors.

The devices will be showcased at the CES 2015 tradeshow and they hail from BenQ, LG, Samsung, ViewSonic and Nixeus.

Oddly enough, Iiyama is not on the list, despite the fact that it was one of the first vendors to officially announce a FreeSync monitor

BenQ will show off the XL2730Z, a 27-incher with a 144Hz QHD panel (2560x1440) and ViewSonic’s 27-incch VXX2701mh will offer 1080p at 144Hz. Nixeus also has a 1080p panel, but it’s a 24-incher.

As for the heavyweights, Samsung will offer two series in three sizes. The UE590 series will be available in 23.6- and 28-inch sizes, with QHD resolution at 60Hz. The UE850 series will come in 23.6-, 28- and 31.5-inch sizes and offer the same resolution and refresh rate.

LG is taking the road less travelled with two 21:9 monitors. The first one is the 34UM67, which we covered a few days ago, while the second one is a 29-inch version of the same series, with a 2560x1080p panel capable of hitting 75Hz.

“The broad adoption of FreeSync technology from our partners shows how the industry strongly values the same open ecosystem and quality that AMD strives for,” said Roy Taylor, corporate vice president, ISV/IHV Partner Group, AMD. “Gamers who use FreeSync technology with AMD Radeon R-Series graphics and AMD latest generation of APUs can rest assured that they’re enjoying the best possible experience.”

AMD will showcase the monitors at its CES booth, promising FreeSync capabilities at “virtually any price point.” The company also said FreeSync-enabled 4K/UHD monitors are on the way as well.
