EVGA GTX 980 Ti FTW ACX 2.0+ is based on a custom PCB with 8+2-phase VRM design, powered by two 8-pin PCI-Express power connectors, which provides additional overclocking headroom and 25W power headroom.
The EVGA GTX 980 Ti FTW ACX 2.0+ is based on Nvidia's well known GM204 Maxwell GPU and packs 2816 CUDA cores and 6GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 384-bit memory interface.
According to EVGA, the new GTX 980 Ti FTW ACX 2.0+ is set to work GPU base clock of 1190MHz and 1291MHz GPU Boost clock, with addition overclocking headroom. The 6GB of GDDR5 memory is left at reference 7010MHz.
In order to cope with the factory-overclock, EVGA equipped its new GTX 980 Ti FTW with its latest ACX 2.0+ cooler which features two fans with optimized swept fan blades, double ball bearings and low-power motor, as well as a memory MOSFET Cooling Plate (MMCP) reduces MOSFET temperatures up to 13 percent and optimized Straight Heat Pipes (SHP) which should additionally reduce GPU temperature.
The ACX 2.0+ cooler also features a dB Noise Inverter feature which does not spin the fans up until the GPU temperature reaches 60 degrees Celsius. The EVGA GTX 980 Ti FTW ACX 2.0+ also comes with an EVGA backplate.
The EVGA GTX 980 Ti FTW ACX 2.0+ is currently available directly from EVGA with a price set at US $689.99 in the US and €759 in Europe.
