The CMP 50HX is based on Nvidia's Cryptocurrency Mining Processor (CMP) design and it is one of the four models announced by Nvidia, positioned above the CMP 30HX and CMP 40HX, and below the flagship CMP 90X.
Although it was expected for the CMP 50HX to be similar to the RTX 2080 Ti, it appears that MSI's CMP 50HX MINER packs slightly fewer CUDA cores, 3584, and works at 1350MHz base and 1545MHz Boost GPU clocks. It comes with 10GB of 14Gbps GDDR6 memory on a 320-bit memory interface. MSI also noted it provides 45MH/s of Ethereum hash rate.
In order to keep it well-cooled in mining conditions, MSI used a dual-slot cooler with a large heatsink and blower-style double-ball bearings fan as well as an open I/O backplate design.
Unfortunately, there is no word on the actual price or the availability date.
