In case you missed it earlier, both the XT and non-XT versions of the Radeon RX 6600 should be based on Navi 23 GPU with up to 8GB of GDDR6 memory and a 128-bit memory interface. The Radeon RX 6600 XT is expected to max out the Navi 23 GPU and pack 2048 Stream Processors, while the non-XT version should end up with 1792 Stream Processors.
We expect plenty of custom versions from day one, and so far, it appears there will be plenty of cards to go around and the recent drop in the price of both Nvidia and AMD graphics cards should fare well for the new upcoming cards as well.
The Radeon RX 6700 XT launch back in March with a $479 MSRP but was selling closer to $800, so hopefully, we won't see the same trend with the Radeon RX 6600 series as well. Unfortunately, there is still no word on the actual MSRP of the Radeon RX 6600 series, so hopefully, we'll hear more as we draw closer to August 11th.
