Nvidia Geforce RTX 4080 SUPER listed in Europe ahead of its launch

by on26 January 2024

€1109 price tag in Europe

First Nvidia Geforce RTX 4080 SUPER graphics cards have been listed in Europe, ahead of its official launch on January 31st, and the price starts at €1,109.

With an MSRP of $999 in the US, this sounds about right with included taxes in European countries, and so far there are plenty of versions listed at that same price. Of course, there are even more expensive versions, pushing the price up to €1,379, like the ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 4080 SUPER OC version. The prices at spotted over at Notebooksbilliger.de by Videocardz.com, and there are some listed at Geizhals as well

In case you missed it, the Nvidia Geforce RTX 4080 SUPER is the third SKU in Nvidia's recent Geforce RTX 40 series SUPER lineup, with the Geforce RTX 4070 SUPER, launched on January 17th, the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER launched on January 24th, and the RTX 4080 SUPER, which comes on January 31st.

The Geforce RTX 4080 SUPER will replace the RTX 4080 on the market, and at $999, it will offer 10240 CUDA cores from AD103 GPU, and 16GB of 23Gbps GDDR6X memory on a 256-bit memory interface, giving it a slightly higher memory bandwidth compared to the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER. It targets 4K gaming and should replace the original Geforce RTX 4080, as Nvidia is only keeping the Geforce RTX 4090 as its flagship product, and RTX 4070 Ti SUPER below the RTX 4080 SUPER.

According to earlier rumors, the RTX 4080 SUPER will get the reference version and Founders Edition cards, so we'll wait for the official launch to see if this is the offical European price after taxes, and how well it performs.
