Nvidia RTX TrueHDR comes soon

Converting SDR games to HDR in real-time with AI

Nvidia is apparently making final tweaks to its new feature called the RTX TrueHDR, which can convert SDR games to HRD in real-time by using Tensor cores on its RTX graphics cards.

Spotted by NexusMods in the latest Nvidia Geforce Game Ready driver (and made into a mod), the new feature looks a lot like Nvidia's recently introduced RTX Video feature, but instead of converting SDR videos to HRD, it converts frames in the game. With a lot of monitors offering HDR capabilities, this will give Nvidia a nice edge over the competition, especially if it works as well as its DLSS technology.

Unfortunately, there is no word on when Nvidia plans to launch it, but for now, you can try out the NexusMods mod.
