The Core i5-13600K test setup featured an “Intel Xe Graphics Ri” card with 160 CUs and 12GB of memory.
The GPU’s 8086:E20B PCI ID aligns with Battlemage entries from a Linux driver, confirming it as the Battlemage G21 silicon. Shipping manifests suggest Intel is already sampling it to partners.
Geekbench’s spec sheets are typically vague. It uses “Compute Units” to derive core counts, but Intel uses “Xe Cores.” Thus, 160 CUs equal 20 Xe2 cores.
The Battlemage G21's clear specs include a 2.85 GHz clock speed and 12GB memory, matching previous leaks. It scored 97,943 in OpenCL, slightly better than the Arc A750 but slower than the Arc A770.
This benchmark should be taken cautiously, as many variables affect performance. Battlemage is still in pre-production, and its software is likely unfinished.
The G21 is expected to power mid-range Battlemage GPUs. Intel aims to launch Battlemage before the holiday season, so its market debut is imminent.
