Last year Nokia purchased fitness tracker, smart scales, and smartwatch maker Withings and has now made the Steel HR available to the public for pre-order.

The new watch from Nokia is similar to Withing’s normal smartwatches. The HR offers a screen that can offer health information like heart rate, step counter, distance, how many calories burned, and more.

Furthermore, it can also provide text, call, and alerts when connected to a smartphone.

However what makes it cool is that it has a 25 day battery life - something Apple can't do with its smartwatches.

If you're someone that is active, the Steel HR does have a heart rate monitor and can be used in water up to a depth of 50 meters. The watch starts at $179.95 and will begin shipping in December.
