While the Intel Optane 900P SSD series, based on 3D XPoint memory, has been available in 280GB and 480GB capacities, an official Product Change Notification, originally leaked by MYCE.comand spotted by Tomshardware.com site, suggests that higher capacity drives should be available soon.
The leaked PCN document does not only list new capacities but also updates for voltage and current details, some label changes, as well as firmware version on the box packaging.
Unfortunately, the document does not give any specific details regarding the actual specifications or the launch date but it appears that these changes should come into effect on December 27th, so these higher-capacity Intel Optane 900P SSDs should not be far behind.
