Kingston sells HyperX to HP


For a cool $425 million

In a rather surprising move, Kingston has announced that it has sold its HyperX, gaming-oriented peripherals division, to HP. The $425 million deal, which should be finalized in Q2 2021, will give HP the division as well as the brand.
