Australian airline Regional Express recently reported that it had to extinguish one passenger’s iPhone after it started glowing red and emitting smoke. Strangely enough, this is exactly what every iPhone fanboy does when you start to question his religion.

Everything happened on flight ZL319 on November 25. No persons were injured although the iQaeda suicide phone is done for. The company said that the martyred phone in question was an iPhone 4.

The device has since been handed over to the authorities for further investigation. And no, when we say “the authorities”, we don’t mean Apple.
