T-Mobile USA has a nice deal for international travelers where it offers 4g speeds, unlimited calls and texts for just three bucks a day.
You do need a sim card that sets you back some additional $10, but it is still quite a deal. The company offers 250 MB at 4G speeds and then it sets you back to EDGE 2G speeds. The catch is that T-Mobile on an international phone works at 2G speeds except in Moscone Center in San Francisco.
Moscone is of course the place where Intel is about to kick off IDF 2012 and it is conveniently located just next door from Apple's iPhone 5 event. T-Mobile kind of revealed that the new phone is 4G and there is a big chance that T-Mobile customers might finally get an LTE enabled iPhone 5.
Apple kicks off its event on the 12th at 10 AM, just after Intel's second day keynote finishes. It will be fun to watch journalists disappearing from Intel to Apple on the 12th.
