It’s not surprising that Google-owned Motorola is getting some Jelly Bean love for its devices. Currently we are aware that Nexus devices, some Samsung Galaxy S3 and Note 2 phones as well as HTC One X+ come with Jelly Bean Android 4.1, and Motorola is here to join the club.

The 4.1 Jelly Bean update is coming to US Verizon owners of Droid Razr HD and Droid Razr Maxx HD, and if anyone matters the update is called 9.1.41.XT926.Verizon.en.US. The update will bring Voice Search well known as Google Now, and it will also deliver other Jell Bean features, like improved notifications.

The update was supposed to happen in the last days of November, but now it’s been pushed back for a week and it will roll out in phases, meaning that some will wait more than the others. Many would want this update to be the 4.2 but it’s clear now that this won’t come before 2013.

We have no idea when the European Motorola Razr HD gets the update, but one can only hope that it will happen this year.
